The Dead Romantics
By Ashley Poston
345 pages
What’s it about?
Florence Day is the unknown ghostwriter for one of the most successful romance novelist in print. She has successfully completed 3 out of the 5 books she is contracted for. She is almost finished with her fourth when she suddenly decides she doesn’t believe in love. Her deadline is looming and her hot new editor isn’t giving her another extension. Can she manage to get her inspiration back?
What did it make me think about?
All kinds of love…
Should I read it?
This is a throughly modern romance- correct pronouns and all. I read this book on a plane with no distractions and I think that always makes a story better. Ghosts, funeral homes, Southern charm, publishing, and lots of family- it had it all. This book was just fun. I thoroughly enjoyed this one! If you like a good romance with a twist then pick this book up.
