Just want to give a good story away at the holidays?  These books will not disappoint!

This was just a fun gender-bending adventure story.

 

In this retelling of “The Iliad” Madeline Miller reimagines the tale of Achilles through the eyes of his best friend Patroclus. Can’t a good story be retold forever?

This story was so easy to read and the plot moved forward in unexpected ways. I think almost all readers would enjoy this book.

 

Just suspend your disbelief and go along for the ride on this one.  The Lincoln Highway is a story full of unique characters that takes place over a span of 10 days.  Each chapter leaves you wanting to know what will happen to these boys next. Plus Amor Towles wrote it…

 

 

I loved Gifty!  What a great character.  She was so complicated, and yet so refreshing.   “He smiled at me, and I wanted to slap the smile off his face, but I wanted other things more.”
